Meet the Doctors
Cessalie Stalder graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and has been practicing since 1999. After a few years practicing in Southern California she relocated to the greater Seattle area and established a career at St. Joseph Medical Group in Tacoma. She transitioned into private practice in 2009 and established Tacoma Chiropractic Center where she’s been practicing with her husband.
Dr. Stalder offers diversified chiropractic treatment techniques along with soft tissue manipulation (Graston and ART) and functional rehabilitation. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and conditions. She specializes in auto accidents, prenatal and post-partum care and sports injuries. Dr. Stalder emphasizes patient education, exercise/core stabilization and proper diet and nutrition to function at an optimum level.
When she’s not in the office she enjoys hiking, yoga, soccer, traveling and spending time with her husband and 3 children.
Robert Stalder also graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and has been in practice since 1998. As a Sothern California native, he was looking for a new opportunity and found it in the Seattle area. After spending some time in private practice in California and as an associate on the east side, he established a career at St. Joseph Medical Group in Tacoma. After nine years he felt compelled to private practice and establish Tacoma Chiropractic Center with his wife.
Dr. Stalder also offers diversified technique along with soft tissue mobilization, stretching, and exercise. He often utilizes Graston and Art techniques. He specializes in work injuries, car accidents, and sports injuries. His treatment philosophy is to find the source of the pain, address it and stabilize it for long-term results.
Dr. Stalder has completed Ironman Triathlons and marathons and knows that early intervention for injuries and yields better outcomes.
When he’s not practicing he enjoys running, hiking and spending time with his wife and 3 children.
Please Welcome Dr.John Chevigny
Dr. Chevigny, a native of Seattle, WA, graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic before moving back to the Pacific Northwest to practice. He prefers to approach patient care by working as a team with medical physicians, physical therapists, acupuncturists, and massage therapists to offer the most comprehensive care possible.
Dr. Chevigny's involvement with chiropractic began when he endured a painful and debilitating sports-related injury, which has been his compass while furthering his education and expanding his practice. He has built an impressive resume working with athletes of all ages and Skill Levels: Cal State Northridge Athletic Department 2012-2013

Through chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, exercise, physical rehab, and functional
taping, he can speed up recovery tremendously. Dr.Chevigny employs a wide variety of
techniques. There is no one size fits all treatment style. Every person is unique and will be
cared for as such.
